I remember paying .35 for a can of copenhagen, now I pay 4.98, and you ought to be with me at the pump when I fill up both tanks on my dually, the regular tank, and the 69 gallon drag up tank. Almost need to sign a note at the bank for a fill up, and that is if I can get the damn attendant to turn on the pump and let it run past 100.00 dollars.

Love my Sporty and all....but when I hear about bikes like Rebels and Vulcans getting 75+ mpg......wait no, I'm not getting one of those, no way, but I'll still complain about gas prices

My first car was a '65 VW Beetle that I drove back and forth to school. This was in the late '60s. Routinely cost me $3.00 to fill it up with regular, leaded gas. Cheapest I ever paid? $.19 a gallon in Louisiana, Missouri, and got a set of glasses for free with the fill up!Life was good!

Today in London I paid 108.9 GBP.......PER LITRE!!!
That works out to 9.81 USD per gallon or 44 Dollars per tankful!

Man, don't do it. You'll spend more trying to customize that scooter than you would on gas for the Nightster. Apes on a scooter. Might be pretty cool looking!

I paid 13.50 for a tank of premium but I mean come on let's get real here guys, where can you get that much enjoyment doing anything else for $13.50? LunchatArby's & smokes cost more[8D]I'd say I'm more pissed about being able to drive 2 minutes down the road in PAfor smokes & pay $5 & when I go to work 20 minutes away in WV the same smokes are $3.40[:@]I remember Marlboro's were $0.89 in MI,I know Whaap you came from the times when you had to roll the leaves

As for you folks across the big pond: Damn! Sorry bout' your luck, you must love your cars cause' I'd be ridin' my bike everywhere& have tosell the car to fund that[:'(]

And for the record no,I won't be driving my Shadow instead
