RE: Trading in the Sporty for a Honda Rebel!!!!
I remember paying .35 for a can of copenhagen, now I pay 4.98, and you ought to be with me at the pump when I fill up both tanks on my dually, the regular tank, and the 69 gallon drag up tank. Almost need to sign a note at the bank for a fill up, and that is if I can get the damn attendant to turn on the pump and let it run past 100.00 dollars.

My first car was a '65 VW Beetle that I drove back and forth to school. This was in the late '60s. Routinely cost me $3.00 to fill it up with regular, leaded gas. Cheapest I ever paid? $.19 a gallon in Louisiana, Missouri, and got a set of glasses for free with the fill up!Life was good!
