i used seafoam too. it knocked the compression down to 65ish on all four cylinders. total loss.
if it didnt help, obviously you had some more serious problems with the motor that a simple additive can't fix.

There is no such thing as 'God In a Bottle' if you have a mechanical issue, ain't nothing in a bottle gonna fix that.

as i said, some carbon is necessary in old engines. i was hoping to get away with valve seals so i seafoamed it to see what would happen. the stuff works. just don't use it on an engine with high milleage unless you know the engine was well cared for. as a fuel additive i've been told it can eat o-rings so use it lightly in efi engines.
