hey, i needa know if its possible to put an elec. starter on my 75 xlch, and what i need to do it myself. thanks

those kits are for xlh's, doesnt it make a differece if its a xlch?

and i kinda need to know everything ill need. im only 16 and my dad just gave me his old, nonrunning, sportster and im a complete newby with harleys, all i know are 2 strokes.

The first thing you need to do is find a service manual for your 75. Do a Google or Yahoo search and you will find one by Haynes or Clymer. You also might want to head to XLForums and make a post to the Iron Head section, if you haven't already. You might even find someone there from your area who would give you a hand, ya never know.

Why you wanna go n do that!? I'd KILL for a kicker on my bike! Once you get everything dialed in they're a breeze on a Sporty. Plus they're SERIOUSLY cool. [8D]
