Hello I am new to the forum and I picked up a Harley seat tonight from my local thrift store I am trying to figure out what it came off of and how much it is worth? Here is the details I have on it and some pics. I have tried searching for it but have found nothing on this seat.

I am not familiar with bikes but is the rallyrunner just the seat type or for a particular bike?

It's made to fit a Sportster, but what year. I know it wouldn't work on my 08. If I had to guess, maybe 03 or earlier.

 

Okay. So it's made for a sportster. Is that categorized under any other names?

take it to your local HD dealer he should be able to tell you what it fits 'cause it's definetly a stock Harley seat. I thought it looked like it might fit a softtail? Buying unknown Harley parts at the thrift store to resell on ebay can be risky.

 

Maybe it is for a Dyna. You can post it over on the Dyna section of this forum along with that ebay ad, maybe someone with a Dyna Glide may know.

Don't waste your time running down this number. It's stamped on nearly every HD seat there is. Means nothing in terms of fitment.

 

Why would it be risky?? OP prob got it next to nothing, and if someone wants to buy it, the fitament risk is theirs......
