idle mixture screw
Hello,
A question:
If the "idle mixture"( which can be adjust with a "screw") is not well adjusted, can this cause a problem to start-up? What a mean is that if it is adjusted "too low" can this cause problem for the Starter to run the engine EVEN when Enricher **** fully OUT?
Another one: where is the idle mixture screw placed?
thank you guys for your responses.

RE: idle mixture screw
The enricher should overcome a poorly adjusted idle mixture screw, however once warmed up a bit , the idle would be irratic and probably cause the engine to die.
To adjust the idle screw, warm the bike up and find the best setting by lightly seating it and this should cause the engine to stall. On restart, adjust the screw to the highest and steadiest idle you can get, usually around 2 1/2 turns open. You can go back and forth a bit to obtain this setting.
