Default Breather bolt size

Well just so y'all don't have to ask, I sheared off the rear breather bolt.

And just so you don't have to tell me, I know I need a torque wrench.

Now that that's out of the way, does anyone know what size these bolts are?

Any suggestions on how to get the rest of the bolt out of the head?

Keep in mind that they are a special bolt that has the air passage drilled through it. Don't replace it with a standard bolt.

BTW, I have a couple stockers laying around if you need them.

Yeah I figured that out as soon as I broke it. I was like "damn! didn't know I was that strong!" and then I looked at the bolt and it had a hole all the way through it.

I'm asking about the size for two reasons:

First, American Biker carries breather bolts but needs to know what size to see if they have it in stock. If no one knows I guess I'll just run by there on my way home today and we'll take the good one out to find the size.

Second, if American biker doesn't have one then I'll have to order one through the harley shop. I read somewhere on here that someone broke one of these bolts one time and just used a regular bolt until the new breather bolt came in.

MRB302: I'm not sure if these are the stock bolts or not. I bought the bike with an aftermarket air cleaner on it and I don't know if they had to switch out bolts or not.

Well the bad news is that I broke the head off the bolt but the good news is that I just discovered the rest of the bolt is loose enough to finger-ratchet out!

Well I went to American Biker and they happened to find a breather bolt that was the exact size!! My lucky day. It took the guy about 20 min to find one though. After it was all said and done they charged me 1.50 for the bolt while the HD dealer wanted $6.

That was the cheap part. When I was trying to get the Air Cleaner assembly off the carb I remembered I needed a #27 torx bit. Well I don't have one. Would you believe that you have to buy a $20 screwdriver set from lowes just to get one measly #27 bit!!

Well at least now I've got a bunch of extra screw drivers and bits.
