Which petcock for new tank?

Which petcock for new tank?
My stretched tank sprung another gas leak,so I ordered a new one.It was already soldered up once,so I'm starting from scratch.
I planned on re-using the stock petcock, but when I disconnnected the fuel line from the petcock, the whole nipple came out of
petcock housing. No way in hell I'm re-using it now.I'm going to replace all the fuel lines before re-assembly also.
My question is,do I get another vacuum petcock? Or can I do away with the vacuum typeand cap the vacuum hose?
I already always turn off the gas when it's not running,so I'm not worried about forgetting to turn the gas off.
I've got my eye on this one from Pingel.Any thoughts....somebody? [sm=confused06.gif]

Yeah,I don't want to get a cheap $20 petcock. But what about this vacuum thingy? It sounds easy enough.Cap the vacuum line and I'm good to go,right?
And what about the VOES switch?WTF is it and do I need it if I get a non-vacuum petcock?

The purpose of a vacuum operated petcock is to provide a fuel safety shut-off. Without a vacuum operated petcock, you run the risk of flooding your garage floor with gasoline in the event that the carb. float sticks. It does happen. As long as you remember to manually turn off the petcock at the end of each ride, no problem.

Yeah thats part of the regimen, I also heard tell of filling the engine up with gas if you forget to turn it off, I never saw that happen but heard of it.

but mostly it comes out of the overflow hose than into the engine itself.
