Just bought a sporty for my 16 year old son. I am a bagger rider and haven't touched sporties since my 45 w/suicide I bought in a basket and rebuilt when I was 16. It is nice to have the basics somewhere as a refresher. Case in point: I forgot about the rubber hose method to drain the oil. Thanks guys!

Hi I have an 07 Sportster1200C and the security keeps going off when I go to move the bike.
It beeps and then the alarm sounds. Keys are in ignition at this time. I'm hoping the battery is on its way out and I 'll need to replace it any ideas??
