&nbsp\\;My youngest son is now 16 and wants to get his M/C endorcment. I think it's a wise choice for him with fuel the way it is. Anyway we were thinking we want to build it up from scratch so it ends up being how he wants it from the get go and get's to put it togather with me.
&nbsp\\;So if anybody got a 883/1200 basket case or old something or other they want to unload to a fine respectful new rider? Let me know

i was looking on craigslist and searched for sportster. My wife paid 4k for 2000 and didnt have to do too much after getting it.&nbsp\\;

 

go look on craigslist. best option is to find a 86 to 03 sporty that runs and just work with that. it will save you money that would be otherwise spent getting a basket case to just START, let alone look good and ride well.


spend a little more now, or a lot more later. i think your smart enough to make the right choice
