Is there anyway to permantly disarm the fob alarm system on a 2007 Sporster?

 

In the manual there is a shipment or storage mod I believe, but if you do not want it all, I would just remove it all together and sell it.

 

Why do you want to disable it?

 

It scares me some

I feel the alarm with siren would be great to have on a touring bike where you have saddlebags filled with valuables that need protecting, but on a sporty............. Well if they want it bad enough they can pick it up and trow it into a truck.

On that note I have a smart alarm kit for sale for 07 and later sportys and touring bikes haha........No really, I do!

 

If you have a domestic version it can be set so it doesn't arm unless you arm it manually.
