Default Steering wobble!

Anybody experienced any steering wobble? When I roll on the throttle and go thru the gears I experience some speed wobble at a certain point.

Type of road? Does it happen at the same speed every time? Tires have the correct air pressure? Steering head adjusted properly?

How many miles on the tires? Does the wobble always happen at the same speed?

Can you be a little more specific regarding when you experience the wobble and what accessories you are running?

To answer you question; Yes, I have a wobble that shows up around 94 mph - it clears up around 103 mph... not that I've invested this in any detail...

Have you lowered it any?I've read on here a few times that you can get wobbles from lowering either the front or rear if you don't lower both equally.

Ok, this is what I'm looking for! You guys & gals are great. Bike mods are in my sig. 3500 miles on stock tires with 30 psi in the front and 36 psi in the rear. Don't know about the steering head? I hope the dealer did the 1000k checks! Yea, I was a little shy about mentioning the speed thing.... but it is around 85-90 mph & there after it sorta smooths out. Buy the way it tops out at 118-120. That sound about normal? The wobble did get out of hand one time & since then I have been acutely aware of it. You might say a little gun shy. It seems most noticeable when I am letting her rip and the front tire is lite. However, I can tell by the feel that if I dropped my guard it could start a wobble at anything over 70 mph. Thinking of a steering damper?

since I switched to drag bars I have noticed a wobble, Im thinking its just the narrower bars making it more noticeable and that it was there all along, smooths out at speed though.....70-75ish

Yup, got one too, around 80/85 while accelerating. 21" front wheel/tire. Suspect balance, maybe head bearings loose. Sure makes your butt pucker!

On my Nightster, hit a bump in the road about 85 -90, wobble got so bad it scared the s@#$ out of me. On a smooth hwy it rides pretty good but the front end always seems a little lighter than what would like. I'm guessing progressive fork springs would stiffen up the front, anybody know for sure?
