Default Sundowner seat?

The stock seat that came with the 2008 XL1200R is much more comfortable than the sundowner when i ride, but wife loves the sundowner. The sundowner pushes you forward and with mid-controls is not that comfortable. I,m 5'8" and am searching for a better seat. Any suggestions would help. Search on Harley site shows a reach seat, badlander and rallyrunner and was wonderin which one would be best for 2-up.

None of them, and don't bother with the corbin either, as it does the same thing AND hits me in the tailbone.

I've been searching for 5 months for a 1200R seat, so far, no luck. Only thing I haven't tried is day-long or Mustang. Let me know what you find!

I'm gonna give my Stocker to Mean City seats over the winter and have them do their "2 inch Memory Foam" thing.

If you do not like the seating position but the seat is otherwise ok have someone alter it for you. I know Mean City will do it and so will many others. It is cheaper than buying 10 seats trying to find one you and the old lady will like.

Give Mean city a call and see if they can fix it for you, I believe they have an 800 number.

I don't mind that so much as the hardness makes my tailbone killer painful after about 80 miles.
