Default Adjust front brake pedal down with HD forward control kit?

So I got the forwards on - don't mind them so far, but the rear brake pedal is useless - I have to lift my leg off the peg and set my foot ~only~ on the pedal - my legs are too long and thus my foot is rotated too far forward to bend back and get it where they are now.

So, is there a way to adjust it down? I'm guessing it's going to need a shorter brake rod, but is that all it takes, and does someone make one?

Um, if one wants to trail brake to get the best cornering angle and keep it stable, I'm going to need it

Who would I look to to get a rod fabbed?

just pull the linkage at the gearbox shaft and reposition it to where the pedal works better for you. You can then make finer adjustments with the adjusters on the linkage.

Good luck, easy fix!

Wait, gearbox? I'm talking brake, not the gearshift.

My foward controls should be in the mail. If the brake pedal is in the wrong position and there's no adjustment, I'll cut it and either just shorten it or add in a threaded adjuster back under the exhaust near the master where the welding won't show very much. I'm talking an 06 model. If you 're in my area, come by and I'll work the modification for you, for a less ridiculous price than the dealer charges.

You should be able to adjust the pedal height. Get yourself a shop manual to help you do it yourself. BTW, that manual will help you save a ton of green on other things too.

I've got a manual - there's nothing there to adjust that I can see
