I have installed this kit on my 06 883 XL. The ham can fits over the filter with about an 1/2" gap from the top of the filter to the inside of the cover all the way around and a nice cutout on the bottom. It had holes for lines that my CV carb did not have so I plugged them. Seems to run OK without any carb adjustments. I was wondering about rain and the filter. Has anyone put one of these K&N RK-3929 kits on.
