Hello all, I'm seriously considering putting a wide or mid glide front end on my nightster and I'm a bit undecided on which to go with. I've seen photos with the wide front but don't recall seeing any with a mid front. I was wondering if the mid would be different enough to make it worth the money. And also if the wide would look to wide on the front of a nightster. Any experience with this, opinions, or photos of this done to a sportster would be appreciated.
I have pondered the same question. I tried to contact the manufacture of one of the top kits about what the dimensions of each are. As in how wide each are but got no responce. Does anyone know how wide a med and wide glide are?
I bought my bike with the wide glide already installed and I really like the way it rides and the way it looks, but I have a 1200C so it may not look as good on a nightster. One thing with the 41mm forks I don't have the problem of flexing.
Either looks good and in most cases cost the same. 95% of bobber style bikes and the like that run peanut tanks also run widglides or springers and they look good.
If I could afford to part with the funds I'd go for a full wide with 41mm tubes. The 39mm converisons look good too though.
