Had one on my previous tank. Slip the bra onto the back of the tank, then take the elastic strap and stretch it to the front of the tank, it goes under the tank and over the frame.

I think they look good and do protect the tank expecially if you have jackets with the big zipper piece or big belt buckles. I got one for free when I bought my bike. However, over time, the elastic will give and it won't fit tightly anymore. When I peeled mine back, I realized it had rubbed through the clear coat over the years.

Brian.

It's easy. wrap the hook part under the tank on both sides and connect it under there out of site. The longer stretchy part goes over the very front of the tank and then slides down along the sides of the tank and out of site. I got one for the same reason, my wedding ring was hitting it and my buckle.

What, you got saggy tanks? Get the Wonder bra. It lifts and firms.

Hmmm. I'll admit up front that I don't like the look of tank bras and, for that reason, would not fit one on my own bike, but there's one thing I really don't get. Why would anyone put something on their tank, in order to protect the paintwork, when that same thing is generally acknowledged (I've seen numerous posts about it on this forum) to cause damage to the paintwork on the tank? Doesn't make sense to me.

If you are worried about scratching the paintwork, it would surely be better to tackle the root cause of the problem and stop wearing the items that are likely to cause damage. Or just be more careful around the bike when you are wearing them.

they do scratch the paint over time and are dirt and dust collecters....I personally don't like how they look on bikes or cars, but that is neither here nor there, they will damage ur paint over time
