Default Ok I'm On The Fence On This One

Local dealer has a package deal screaming eagle heads, cams, pushrods, high compresion pistons ,tuner with dyno time,I buy the exhaust and air cleaner, warranty stays in effect 3,000.00. The Nightster isn't really up for that I don't think,it would need 13 inch rear shocks, front suspension, dual disks in the front,I've been trying not to be an adrlin junkie anymore, that's why I got rid of my Boss Hoss, what do you think?

Sounds like a good deal, especially including labor, if you want the fastest Nightster around!

How much HP are you going to be gaining? Might be worth it.

Yeah what he said... I'd love to know the numbers because ultimately I'd like to do all that to mine

I think you could do better. In my opionion Screamin' eagle heads aren't much better than stock heads. You're better off having your stock heads worked. If you want a good performance set of heads right out of the box check out the Buell XB heads. If you shop around I'm sure you could bring that price down and get a better package. If you took your time and did it yourself (it's really not difficult) you could save even more

Yes, but as he says, he would still be under warranty with all this.

Ahhhhh, If you are worried about warranty.....I'd save that $3K until after the warranty is up & get better performing parts with that $$$$.
