i have an 06 roadster and most of the time i just blow the dirt off with compressed air. the only way i have found to clean it is to wash it with soft bristle scrub brush. i mainly bought this bike because of the black wrinkle finish. it actually stays clean looking most of the time and when you do wash it, it doesn't show water spots like chrome does. i have found that using any kind of rag, including the harley microfiber which i really like for the paint and chrome, will snag on the wrinkle finish and leave fibers stuck to it although the air gun took care of that. but hey, it sure does have a pretty cool look to it

I blast it at the local "do-it-yourself" car wash. I just make sure I don't use high pressure around hubs, brakes, instruments, etc and make sure I have let the engine cool down well before washing. I've been cleaning my bike that way since there have been do it yourself car washes and have never had a problem.

Use the S100 engine bright for your wrinkle black. It really makes the black look like new. I've been using it on my FXDXT since new. I'm sure there are other products out there, but its usually at you local HD dealer.

Also, use a leaf blower to dry and it will dry real fast and avoid spots on the bike.

I use 'Back to Black' silicon spray.
Back To Black returns a new look to all plastic bumpers and trim in seconds. This product renews all colours of plastic bumpers, spoilers and trim to their original colour and shine, in addition to this regular use protects against weathering.

Just spray on, then wipe off with a dry cotton cloth.

use a soft brush with mild soap , rinse , compressed air / leaf blower dry , and about every 4/5 washes I use s100 engine brite from my local stealer! love the finished outcome!! (o, try to keep the s100 off your paint , don't think it would hurt it but It may f@*k with the wax
