I bought a set of used chrome highway peg supports off e-bay for $50 (they have new ones for like $80 on e-bay now) and had them powder coated for like $45, added the balck daimond pegs.
I enjoy having 2 options for riding style, plus the back break can be used with your heel from the highway pegs.
Also been lurking for a while, figure I'll post mine:
2010
keystone gen 2 bars
4 inch generic pullback risers, inverted.
tank lift
48 seat
mirror flip.
cheap-*** homemade speedo mount (for now)
Retired AMMO here (26 yrs, retired in 2003), I await pics of your bike. I love mine.
Nice to see another AMMO troop!
I'll get more pics this weekend.
I've flipped my mirrors, wrapped my pipes, and finally got my highway pegs back from the powdercoater. I LOVE have the option of both leg positions!
So I just bought my first Harley. 2010 Iron 883. I wanna do so much to the thing its rediculous. I already got new pipes coming but I wanna get ne handlebars right away too. I like the look of the "Z" bars so far. Can anyone tell me if they are hard to install and if the wiring kit is hard to install too??
