How about useing STP Oil Treatment in your Bike has anyone in here used it in there HD yet I use it in all my cars And even in MY Airplane for years but never try it in the bike............

 

I don't know of any good reason to put additional additives in a quality synthetic oil. These oils already contain a mixture of additives that are designed to work together as blended. Unless your a chemist, your addition of an extra additive could work to upset the designed chemical balance of the oil.

With today's high tech oils, things like STP are yesterdays news IMO, other than in specialized applications.

 

Just out of curiosity, why did you add this to an airplane engine? I've owned an Archer for years w/engines from both Penn Yan and Mattituck. I've never heard of an airplane engine manufacturer recommending this.

 

I been useing it now for over 40 years i been flying and still useing it today did you ever see a eng. lose all it oil and keep running on STP for a little longer I have if just may make the difference it you make it or not O well that just me
