I started running regular gas in my bike and decided yesterday to try the plus....it seems to run a bit smoother.

Mid grade, which is 87 octane here in CO. It's what the bike calls for.

Yep- 85 is low here. There should be a sticker on your left front frame downtube telling you what octane it eats. Stick with that or higher. I tried running 91, didn't make a difference for anything, so even though it's only a dime cheaper, hey, it's a dime cheaper.

Minimum 91 octane (per manual), but usually 93 octane. I try to buy Chevron if I have a choice, but I won't pass up a station if I need fuel.

I could swear that my manual says 91 octane. Did the older bikes only require 87? That doesn't sound right.
