I know this sounds like a dealer response, normal. Try keeping your oil level at just a tic above the low mark, and run it like you stole it.
There was a service bullitin from Buell some years ago about this, the bullitin explained the fix. I found it on sportster.org I think I searched "oil puking" but I could be wrong.

The dealerships felt that it was 'normal' to be blowing oil out of the air filter, with the possibility of it getting on the rear tire causing loss of control and a possible accident?
It's amazing to me what 'dealers' will say is normal get to get out of correcting the problem.
If you purchased a new car, and found that it was blowing antifreeze out of the radiator when pushing the vehicle I doubt if any dealer would consider that 'normal'...
Crazy....
