Default serious carb farts

i dont even know where to start with this one..i guess the begining would be good..i bought my bike 3 years ago from my cousin it had 2,000 miles on it and was like 4 months old..when he bought it he had the dealer do sreamin eagle slipons, s/e air cleaner and rejet the carb with a dyno jet kit, he had it to the dealer multiple times for carb farts and they told him it was normal..so anyway i had it to them when i first got the bike for the same problem and i got the same answer..so anyway the last couple of weeks they have been getting real bad and i pulled my hair out trying to figure out why..i started by pulling the carb off of it and cleaning it,in the meantime i find out that the lousy dealer never even jetted the carb..the jets were not dyno jets..the slow jet was a 42 and the main jet was a 170..i was pissed so i went to the dealer and asked was size main jet comes in a stock 05 1200c and he tryed to tell me it would have been a 150..yeah ok..so i figured i would leave the 170 in since im not having problems with the top end but i bought a 45 slow jet and installed that..i also got a new intake gasket, new air cleaner, new wires..put all the new stuff on and it runs smoother at low speeds but still farts..i remembered the check engine light came on last week so i got into the diagnostics and got the code saying map sensor low/open..today i went back to the dealer and bought a new battery and map sensor,,installed everything and the bike is running better now than ever..no more farts no more surging at low speeds..i also thanked the service department for the fine job rejetting the carb that my cousin payed for..
