I just got a daytona 3/4. The medium was too small and now I got the large it fights my head right but the lower section is way too big. There is a step in the foam where you give 1/4 " in the cheeks. If you have a fat face you should be fine, but otherwise don't waste your money. Customer service is great but they charge $25 restocking fee if you want to return it. So its off to craigslist.

I have a black biltwell, and if nothing else it acts as earplugs. I have a peanut head and wonder if the fulmer DOT would make me look like much more of a spaceball head. if your head is tiny it's not so low profile. the lowest profile i've seen are those british davidas which i think are DOT. they're like $400, and well.... British! ok if we were on the triumph RAT forum.

The Davida is a great helmet, but doesn't have that, "Hell be damned," coolness to it. What it does have is the plushest leather interior and ultimate comfort. It's legal in ALL countries since its construction is ACU approved for racing in the UK and is certified to the European Safety Standard ECE R22-05. DOT falls well short of the EC rating on this helmet. The least you'll pay is $375 for the helmet in the UK, and they throw in the The Great Gazoo T for free.

Personally, I am not a fan of the Daytona Cruiser either (3/4). Same problem I had, well, with sizing. Medium looked OK on me, but my head was swimming in it. Small, seems to fit well, but rides too high on my head (too much forehead exposed). The interior foam is not very comfortable either. After the first day wearing it, I had a big red mark on my forehead from the lining. Now it is just a passenger lid for the little lady. Fulmer V2 all the way I say (for DOT)..
See what I mean (Daytona = Black, Fulmer = Green):

Yeah I could fit my fingers in between the helmet and my face on both sides. I ended up putting it on the wife and fits her better than any other helmet shes tried. Soooo shes happy and Im getting a fulmer.
