Running Temperature
Just installed the V&H shortshots and the fuelpak. It feels like the bike is running hot. What should the running temperature be? I never really paid attention to the temperature of the bike last week because it wasn't 100 degrees outside like it is today. Is there a small digital temperature gauge available?

Harley makes a replacement oil dipstick that has a thermometer built in to measure oil temp. That would probably be cheaper than a digital gauge.

Cool. I'll check it out. Thanks. From reading on here it looks like engine temperature should be 250 degrees max??

Get the analog oil temp dipstick. The digital is more expensive and doesn't work as well.
