I am NOT a speed demon but I have had the red mistress over 90 before. It didnt feel like it was going to stop gaining in speed.

 

A friend of mine was caught doin 172kms which is roughly 107mph i think

 

If you ignore all the "real world" factors like, rider weight, drag, head winds, etc, an 883 with stock gearing, in 5th gear, would hit the 6200 RPM rev limiter at about 110 mph.

On another note, since I've added the pipes, air cleaner, and Power Commander the bike tops out somewheres near 110 with my now 280 LB. body on it.

 

WOW...I had my CBR600F3 183mph....and was still going..when I got scared and let off....
My sporty....I had at around 113mph....and I like that even better....Love the Sporty never want to get rid of her...she is my true love..

 

mine goes as fast as the speed limit , it does get there quick ...

 

Sorry to interupt, but I believe it's 103 mph on a stock bone.

 

My old '86 does 105+, lend me yours for a few days and we will find out!
