Default Having a hard time putting bike in neutral.

Hi Folks,
It's one of those days..... I am having a hard time putting the transmission into neutral. While moving I can easily go to neutral, but when stopped the bike will bypass and go to 2nd gear. When this happens I can turn the engine and get to neutral that way. This is a new problem and is very confusing. Any suggestions? I will also add that my friend that has been riding for many years told to lift slowly. I had him get on the bike and it took him over a minute to get to neutral.

Mine does the same thing. I just rev it a little bit before shifting to neutral and it seems to help.

I had the same problem you have to adjust the cable so there is no slack, its under the rubber slinky thing on the cable(I know that sounds retarded but I dont know wat its called)

Adjust clutch and switch to mobil 75 90 gear oil. It will solve your problem.
