Default Rear Axle Torque

On the earlier (90's) the torque was 60-65 ft lbs. In 2005 they went to a bigger axle and the torque went up to 72-78 ft lbs. An even larger axle was used later (not sure what first year but by 2008) and I think the torque went up to 95-105 ft lbs.

Hope this helps.

Your 3/4" rear axle torque spec is 60-65 ft lbs. FYI: - If your pulling the axle, don't put it back in without putting anti-seize on the axle.
