RE: baffle removal
I have no clue where the baffles are even located, I have been trying to find out, but cant locate any info. I have the tapered exhaust on my 06 1200c and would like to remove the baffles. I have read on here about drilling, and some people hammering and so on, but how in the hell am i going to drill out the baffles if i have a tapered exhaust system? Anyone who has done this already help me out, im a bit clueless on this topic, but want to get some real sound from my bike.

RE: baffle removal
You really need to search other threads for "baffle removal", "drilling baffles", etc. The baffle is smaller than the small end of the taper. The circular weld that you see on the end of the muffler is holding the baffle in. You either drill it out with a 1 3/4" holes saw or cut it out with a plasma cutter. I did the hole saw and had no problems. Took less than 30 minutes. I took the bolts out of the front muffler to pry it out far enough to get my drill in it.
It is unbelievable how good it sounds. I figured it would have a raspy sound but it sounds just like a harley now.
