Default 99 Spoirtster speedometer doesn't work.

This bike has been changed over to the fat bob tank and center speedo. The digital display comes on, but neither the speedo or odo works. I have replaced the crankcase sensor, and have checked all connections. Splices were made in the original harness when it was changed to the center speedo. All splices are good, no corrosion, no loose connections. This is the only thing keeping me from riding out of my neighborhood. Does anyone have any pointers for me to check? I appreciate it. Randy D.

By crankcase sensor, I'm taking that you mean VSS or Vehicle speed sensor that is located by the oil filter. I would say that you need to re-check all the wire connections again or to see if some wires are crossed. Other than that, your guess is as good as mine.
