Buddy called and asked and I'm not looking at the bike at the moment, is it a plug on a hose under the oil tank or is it the kind that goes to a nub on the frame?

 

I have a 97 it plugs onto a nub in the frame under behind the primary

 

Thanks, that's where I thought it was supposed to be. I went to where the bike was and we checked and the nub is definitely there. However, there is no hose going to it. I think the bike was frankensteined. It was bumped up from an 883 to a 1200 and the one hose that comes out of the oil bag goes down to the pump where it is supposed to go, but there is another one that goes to a "T" fitting and from there the bottom hose goes to yet another "T" fitting behind the primary and then I don't know where. The top hose goes up and under the seat and is tucked in, but open and looks as though it is some sort of vent tube.
