Dealer installed a SE Pro Super Tuner (for free) to cure a cold start issue. Didnt give me the software and was wondering if anyone knew of a place to download it ?

 

You've gotta buy the software from the Harley shop.

 

Usually the software comes with the device. Now maybe HD is different, and they sell the software and tuner seperately, but it'd be worth checking out.

 

All cables and software are sold seperate.

Don't waste anymore cash on that POS tuner. I had one on my new bike and replaced it with a thunder max W/auto tune. Shop around you can get them for about 7 bills, you'll have that in getting everything for the hd tuner. The T max allows you to do much more and works much better.

I can't make my bike back fire now, super tuner it did it constantly...

 

Best way to tune your bike with a race tuner or any other power commander is to take it and get it dyno tuned. You want it to run good, get it tuned. Hands down.

 

The T-max uses wide band 02 censors and is capable of constantly tuning your bike while you ride. There are other tuners that do this as well.

But trust me, one thing you won't need to have a good running bike is a dyno...
A dyno could help in creating maps to program. but that's kinda senseless considering they will tune themselves going down the road.

 

Damn I'm glad my Sportsters don't need this stuff. I can justify the cost on my RK but I don't think I could swallow it for a Sportster.
