It's been done, but I don't remember one from a Road Glide. I'm pretty sure the deminsions would need to be scaled down. If it's what you want, go for it.

Having used both, I *greatly* prefer the frame mounted fairing as it provides better weather protection and it has no effect on steering inputs.
Personally, I'd love to have a frame mounted fairing on my Sporty - I'm just not willing to pony up the money for it.

Same here. I wish Harley would offer a factory Sportster size tourer . I don't need the big twin, but I would like it's comforts. To those who want to ride " bare bones " go for it, but by 50 I enjoy other aspects of the ride........WVleo

XR1200 tourer...
Well, I like the bare looks of my XR, but I'm trying to find a solution for the wind pressure when riding faster for hours and I really don't like the looks of the windshield kit HD offers. I'm not convinced of that look either.. but I like the star-wars looks of my photoshopped image. Also the XR would almost look like an 'enduro' that way, and that, I don't know what to think of (it's not the goal, definitely, ...)...

Blasphemy! Ride naked or don't ride!
Not my cup of tea but if it floats your boat go for it!
