Default more hp and torque for nightster?

hello all, Im new to this and have a question. I have a 2008 nightster 1200. I got V&H sideshots on it and I put a SE pro super tuner w stage 1 EFI kit also. I still would like some more HP and Torque. on the dyno it only had 69.8 trq and 70.2 hp. What are my options?

Change your exhaust or cams, maybe have your heads reworked.IMO the popular short exhaust systems aren't worth a crap for power you'd do better with a decent 2 into header or something like true duals where both head pipes are equal length.

The next step for power is definitely head work. It will definitely give the most bang for your buck. The full effect of cams will not be felt with the crappy heads that come on the sportsters from the factory.

I have to agree, you can do alot by yourself. get out the dremel and polish those heads and add some bigger better valves.

Wouldn't the heavy breather be the next step?

Get the "SUPER HAMMER" kit from Zippers Performance. Pricey! But, it will take you very close to 100/100 for hp and tq and it remains 1200 cc.

You need head work and compression and loose those gaybag pipes. My wifes 2003 makes more HP and Torq that your's and hers has a mild Zippers Torqster kit.
You'd be amazed at what a good 2-1 exhaust and a new tune would do.
You have a good set of cams from the factory I would not worry about those.
