I'd be interested on whether or not someone has installed a Fiamm Freeway Blaster on an 07 Ultra. Do you need 2 or will one do? Do you need to rig a relay?

The stock horn on the 1200L is louder than the stocks on the two Triumphs that I owned. I've used the dual Fiamms on one bike, but not the H-D. They came in a kit with a relay and all of the wiring and terminals that you need. An easy electrical install, but difficult to get both of them mounted on the bike. They are louder individually than that on theSportsterbut working together they seem louder than they should because the tones selected create a discord. Another option is the Stebel Nautilus, I heard one of those demoed at a bike show, very impressive but its difficult to find a place to put ir without it looking really ugly.

I had to use mine a couple of time for people merging into my lane. Each time they heard it and moved back over. 04 1200R

I don't use a horn. I find it's a waste of precious time reaching for the horn button instead of reacting to the problem and taking the necessary evasive action, or atleast preparing to take evasive action if and when it becomes necessary.

The Yamaha cruiser I had before had a pittiful horn...I'm pretty happy with the HD horn. It's a lot louder than any other stock bike that I'm aware of.
