Question wheres my factory alarm module ???

hi there i have a 2007 xl883l , i think it has a factory alarm i have a key fob i need to run the bike , but i recently installed a scorpio alarm , and now sometimes i cant start the bike , the lights all flash the red key light is on on the speedo and it just wont turn over . if i turn the key on/off a few times and/or push the scorpio alarm button i eventually get it too start and run , but i think i want too pull the factory alarm and use the scorpio , i cant seem to find the factory alarm module ? its not under the seat , thats where i put the scorpio alarm .?? any ideas ?????

not a 100% sure, but can you not just pull the fuse to the alarm?

If I am not mistaken, I think it is between the battery and the fuse box or just behind the fuse box in that area. Not sure if you can just eliminate it or not, but you should be able to disable it by putting it in the service mode.

The alarm is tied into our turn signal cancelling unit. To get rid of the alarm and keep your turn signals, you'll need the "stock" turn signal module from Harley (no alarm). The dealer I worked at used to put the factory module into inventory when an alarm module was installed. There were a ****-ton of 'em. The part # is in the Parts Manual for your bike. It shouldn't cost too much. Service mode sounds like a potential option, too.
