Default Nightster Oil Change

I recently bought a used 2009 Nightster with 2400 miles and I want to do an oil change. What kind of oil should I use, and what kind of filter? Also is there anything I need to know about changing the oil on a '09 nightster? Thanks!

Look at the current Motor Oil thread to find the oil. As for the filter I use the HD one from the dealer. I just changed mine 2008 Nightster and it took 2.6 qts. I almost screwed up and used the 3.6 the manual calls for. It's my understanding that the 3.6 is for a dry motor. When I drained the tank and filter 2.6 qts came out. If you overfill the bike you may have it come out the breather.
