Missing cables cover left side next to seat?
Sportster supposed to have cable cover next to the seat? The left side of my bike where the cables are located seem to be exposed to the environment compared to the right side of the bike which actually has some sort of plastic cover just under the seat.
I was wondering if there is something missing on my bike?
This side has cable cover
This side has missing cable cover?

Dusty's right. I just checked my 72. No cover on that side. Apparently the rims used on 72's aren't balanced good from manufacturer, as both my front & rear rims have 8 wheel weights on each of them. I thought Damn gonna have to do something about that when I replace the tires, 'cause that's a lot of weights. May try "dyna beads from DK Customs to get rid of all those ugly weights

Just as an FYI, you could also use the coil and ignition relocation to clean up the wires with a wire tuck... Here is a picture...
