Im thinking of putting 12" Z Bars on my nightster. Any input would be great. Pics would be to

 

Licks have some black 10" that look great, had them on my bike and I think there are some pics in my pro with them. No need to change cables or lines with the 10".

 

I was talking to this company about buying a kit for mine including chrome controls and internal wiring. They were trying to tell me I needed new cables for 8.5'' mini apes.

Are they just blowing smoke up my *** to make a buck?

 

Yes they were blowin smoke. It takes a little time but you can make them work. Noticed you have a custom I think you'll need 2" risers

 

Don't know about the risers but I know the cables will fit. Thats not much higher than factory.

so there is no need to change the wires

 

Not with the 10 inch z bars...it takes alot of patience and getting some slack out of the wires from under the tank..i did mine a long with a home made coil relocation and tank lift so i just pulled up extra slack when the tank was up
