Actually, it's been statistically proven that bikes with loud pipes are more dangerous than quiet ones.

Probably not what you're looking for, but here's mine - bobbed, reshaped, repainted, lowered.

I chopped the fender on my fatbob so that it was flush with the (sorry for description but I can't think of the word) metal arms that hold the fender in place, and although I liked the look, if there was any rain or watter, i had streaks all over my jacket because the water shot straight up...are guys like Mreed having the same issue? Wanting to cut the fender and I never ride 2 up on my sporty, but do get caught in the rain quite often...

Thanks

L

Yeah but it doesn't bother me. Evens out my jacket anyway...with the smashed bugs on the front & all.

I liked the look and shape of the stock fender but, I thought it still was too long so I took a couple inches off of it and gave it a nice curve into the fender struts.

I did mine close to a stock Nightster, there are lots of pics in my gallery and here is the thread on it.

I wanted to just take a little off mine. When you see it you would probably not know it has been cut but I took about 3" off, I cut it then kept cutting till I got the sides to curve right, enough to still have about a 3/4" radius up off the struts.
