Iron handlebars???

Iron handlebars???
ok so i've ridden on my iron for a while now and feel that the drag
bars are not meant for long rides... just not comfortable for me... I
would love to get some 12" apes but the 300 dollar price tag which
would include the cable extensions is alittle much for me ...
Are there any handlebars that i can switch out and get a more comfy
feel without having to do the extensions??? I feel handlebars are all
reasonably priced but they get you with the cable extensions needed
on the iron...
comments and pics are always appreciated... Thanks...

I had a set of biltwell frisco bars on for a while. I kept all of the stock wires. I did however have to "relocate" the brake line.

I got my bike it had drag bars on it.. I loved the way they looked but like you they were hard on me for long rides.. that and I found them a little hard to get use to starting out. I happened to have some old stock bars off my moms 2000 superglide.. they work great and I didn't have to get any new cables.. You might see if anyone in the dyna section have some just laying around..

What they mean by relocating the stock brake line, is bending the solid metal middle portion so that it will reach the new position of the master cylinder.
