Can someone tell me the number reading on your fuel pak at idel after you get your fuel pak set. I'm running SE heavy breather and V&H slipons. I had my dealer install my fuelpak and heavy breather. The number reading on my fuelpak is 1 in the first set of windows and a 6 in the next set. The reason i'm asking this is that i'm getting a little popping on decel and sometimes it feels like its burping at speed. So can anyone tell me your number setting at idel for this same setup.

Email the techs at V&H with your set-up and symptoms and they will provide mode value changes that should help. helped mine considerably. The cat's name was Derek. Just a suggestion

 

All im asking is, whats the number read out on another persons V&H Fuelpak, such as yours. You seem like you have the same set up as i do. I checked the instructions on V&H website and the numbers don't match as to what the dealer set it at. I'm taking her back to the dealer and what i printed out from V&H website, their the ones that programed it wrong. So can a fuelpak be reset to factory settings.

 

program in what the website says. if dealer used mode values from the book, they could be outdated. map fp-0683 was different in pamphlet than on the website. it will take less than 10 minutes.

if you look on the v&h website, the instructions for installation are printed there. very simple to do; if I can do it, anyone can.

 

Depends on what baffles you have in there. For standard the mode 1-4 settings are zeros. Quiet baffle mode 1 setting is zero.

I just swapped out the quiet baffles for the standard ones tonight.

 

Can the fuelpak be reset, I think the dealer programed it wrong. How do you reset it?

Take the 4 screws and cover off the Fuelpak. Turn the key to on, hit run, but don't start the engine. Reset all the codes per instructions on the V&H site.
