Default tank lift/wire tuck

i posted a thread last week sometime about doing a coil relocation and wire tuck, plus a tank lift. i have done two of the three. the wire tuck and tank lift. i actually decided against the coil relocation for now. i think that might be a good winter project? so far this is what it looks like!

( i'm getting some apes put on in the next few weeks ... I HOPE )

the first pic is what it looks like stock.

You can make the bracket for the relocate for little to nothing instead of buying one.

OK, so it looks like this was an old thread that got revived, so OP my not answer. But I'll ask a stupid question...
What is the Tank Lift / Wire Tuck accomplishing?
Any benefits or is it just for looks?

I did a wire tuck/coil relocation without a tank lift as well.
I removed the tank & carefully separated the wires and
ran a few up each side of the backbone taping as I went.
It was not hard, just time consuming. You'll want to test-fit
the tank many times during the taping - dont wait till the end
only to find out the tank wont drop down enough....

Here's a pic of the OL's '13 Buckshot Iron - hope it helps,

T.
