Is it possible to remount the mirrors in the upward position?

 

I have a Nightster and traded a kid my tank for his 48 tank and the Nightster tank worked fine on his and vice versa

 

I have a Nightster tank on my 48, and I also have the softail slim handlebars.....these have no problems with the mirrors hitting the tank and look pretty dam good to me.

 

I just got some new 10inch z bars and im not sure if i have to change out all the cables??can someone give me info on this??

 

Is the current 883 tank the same as the nightster tank mentioned in this thread? I came across a good deal today and wanted to make sure it would fit before I dropped the cash. Thanks in advance for any info.

I know I'm late to this party but if anyone still keeps tabs on this thread I'd like to know how many miles the peanut 3.3 nightster tank gives you. Looks like Daniel Hunter installed it on his 48. The stock tank is only giving me 75 miles on a good day. Anyway, I'd be interested in the gain on the mileage per tank on the larger tanks.

 

I have a 2014 48 sportster with the lil peanut tank and looking to put a larger tank on it as well mine is vivid black anyone have a larger tank that would fit mine in vivid black that might wanna trade?? Mine is mint.. no dents or dings.

 

so that tank is only a 3.3 gallon Nightster tank?? Looks bigger than 3.3 gallon

 

what color is your tank??? I have a 2014 48 looking to up size the tank?? I'm looking for vivid black with no dents, dings, or knicks..
