Thanks Mutant Soldier! It definitely upgrades the look and the ride, the seat is extremely comfortable, imo it's more comfy than the stock seat and no more sliding back under acceleration!

 

10 days old.

Mods so far:

• Vance & Hines 3" Twin Slash Cut Slip On Exhaust
• Vance & Hines FP3 Fuelpak
• Skull & Chain Derby & Timer cover in smokey chrome
• Biltwell Single Stitch "Sporty 8" solo seat
• Flush mount gas cap
• 1 1/2" Headlight Trim Ring
• Smoked Front Turn Signal Lenses
• PIAA Powersport Bulb Extreme White Headlight

I shaved the front fork amber reflectors as well as the rear fender red reflector to clean up the look a bit.

I have a DK Custom Outlaw HiFlow Transparent Intake arriving on Wednesday.

I also have a coil and ignition relocation kit that I will be installing, along with a nice clean wire tuck (no lift) once it's put to bed for the winter.

 

iv got a goodish speakers/sub on my computer and that just sounds PURE AWESOME!!!!!(has a muscle car tone but in a bike kinda way) love what you did with that bike!

Thanks. It's taken with an iPhone too so you don't really get a true reproduction of the sound. I have friends with cammed big twins that are even jelous of what it sounds like at idle haha.

 

Man! Love the looks of that new seat!!! It has the HD logo embossed, the 1903...can be used with my current spring setup or the way you have it!!! Crap!! I thought I was done!! Bobber Solo Saddle Seat

I need to stop looking at this thread... LOL... but I sent HD an email to see if that seat is coming out in distressed brown... if they make it in brown, I will not be able to resist getting it. Straight bolt on to the mount I have.

 

Thanks alot!! Yea I went with the frame mount, I didn't like the looks of the HD spring mount. Plus I was told that the springs were so stiff and there was no benefit and I would lose the low profile look! Great seat though!! I highly recommend it!!
