Honestly, buy a service manual and do it yourself. NOONE will ever care about your bike as much as you do. I have had a few inspections where they did next to nothing to the bike and charged me over $150. Took it home and then had to fix stuff myself. Never again. It's just a waste of money. Money that could be spent buying something cool.

That odd inspection interval and price sounds like it's offered as a courtesy to someone who has more money than skills. I take variations of the inspection criteria and do them weekly or monthly, not so much the adjustments, just the inspections.
