Now the speedometer is sticking straight up in the air insteadof angled back. What can I do to get the angle again? Is there a new bracket or do I need to get a different speedometer now? The risers put it at a straight up angle, it looks weird. I want the speedo that you see on the 2007 customs but was not looking to spend the money right now, but I dont think I can stand my speedo that way it is for very long.. any suggestions? anyone else put pullback risers on and what did y ou do?

Chances are your bracket is angled so adding that on top of the pull back rises = what you're getting. You'll need a straight speedo bracket.

Let me know what you do cause I'm looking for an angled bracket to use.

I had the same thing happen to me. I believe Dennis Kirk has a bracket for about $12 and it is chrome and puts the guage back where it belongs. Before I found that out I went out and bought 4 inch straight risers.

 

You can use two small sockets and mount the speedo on the headlight eyebrow if you are not on a custom.

Ok, Ihave looked everywhere and I cant find what I need, someone please post a link to the part so I can order it. I just looked on dennis kirk for about an hour, I do see a straight speedo cover but it does not say what size it is so I dont know if it will fit. Help please.. thanks

 

mabey I am missing someting but the bracket I posted looks like it solves the problem, it did in the pics he posted. Ill know for sure when my bracket arrives next week
