Default xl1200r first time tune up

OK guys I need your advice here. I want to do my first tune up along with installing a new starter- all ***** that is. I need plugs, wires, oil, oil filter- chroam of course, air filter, sealents, locktight, gear oil and primary case gasket because I have to remove my primary case cover inorder to install the new starter. I want to use quality stuff not overly expensive stuff. My searches lead me amist. Quite frankly, I'm not sure what the difference between two HD filters that are chrom but one costs 7.00 and the other 13.00 on Amazon: the same loss on oil??? I was hoping someone can recommend a website along with specs of particular merchandise- IE specific oil per quart, spark plug, filter etc. I plan on riding the bike 2 -3 times a week. I have purchased the fix my hog videos, but there are no specific recommendations made on where to purchase in one place and have shipped.

I have a xl1200r 2004

Thanks in advance,

Andrew

Invest in an HD service manual for your specific year. It's gonna cost what it's gonna cost. Put the money back into your community. If you have a shop near by,check'em out.
