Default My Tank Lift, Coil Relocation, Engine Paint for @ $100

Several members on here have really inspired me to do some stuff to the ol' nightster.

Here are the before shots:

Here are the parts I bought:

I got the bracket off Ebay, well made and was only $40. The spark plug cables came from USKoolLines and were $30, they also shipped them super fast. The tank lift brackets came off the u bolts and were rattle canned. I can't take credit for that idea, but I cant remember who it was on here that did that!

Rattle canned the tank lift brackets, here it is with the bolts:

And here is the end result:

I am really digging it, it came out great. My only two gripes are that I wish the engine paint was darker black, will shop around and redo that job.

Second is that I wish I could have tucked the braided line going to the O2 sensors and the lower frame stuff a bit better but I didn't have enough slack. I am going to have to lengthen those wires.

My new bars get here today or tomorrow so more pics coming!

looks good!
What did you search under on ebay for the coil relocation bracket?
Also can you give me the info where you got the spark plug wires?
I've been toying with this idea for a while now, so if I can get the parts rather inexpensive and quick i'll go for it. Thanks for the post & like I said it came out great.

For those that asked, here is the reloc bracket on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ht_9380wt_1165

Sellers store:
http://stores.ebay.com/FEFiShop
The guys sells a lot of "odd" stuff but the reloc bracket is well made and he shipped it very fast, cant complain. He has several variations, with SE wires, no ignition reloc, be sure to read the description.

The Wires came from http://uskoolines.com They also shipped super fast. You can get several colors, 2 x 11" cables cost me @ $32 shipped.

I got the same bracket on ebay, but bought the kit that included the wires, tank lift brackets, and coil/key relocation. I didn't need to paint anything and I think I paid $89 with shipping. I thought the bracket was really sturdy and solid. I was impressed. Nice job on your setup!
