I actually really love the denim blue. A stock blue nightster stainding to a stock black, silver, or even orange just looks completely different to me. It's oddly sexy.
The olive paint option was discontinued after '08. Any newer year of nightster is either vivid black, black and orange, black and silver or, black and blue. Even with it's discontinuation there is still a big demand for the olive color option.
Went to check out our local toy run this past weekend. OMG tons of bikes.
Saw another one at the event but it looked like $#!t. Obviously kept outside Plus cheesy mods
Boy don't I feel like a dope for messing with my Original Olive Denim color, after I went thorugh so much BS just to find one in Las Vegas.
Dude, your part of the reason why I got a Nightster, after seeing the amount of crazy crap you did to your bike, I was like "Okay, I need to get me one of those" lol.
I got my olive N in '08 and have only seen two others since in the NY/Long Island area. Everyone is always asking if it is a custom paint job. I tell them it's stock but that the "5" on the timing cover means that it is the fifth one off the production line. Ha ha!
I figure that with how low production it was I shouldn't have done anything to mine but, it is what it is and I have plan it will still be repainted in the original colors once it is finished
